Lodges

The Gateway Area Council and Camp Decorah take great pride in providing quality lodging to our guests. The council is committed to maintaining the infrastructure of our camp, including all buildings. Lodges are used throughout the year, especially during the the winter months. Please contact the Council Service Center to make a reservation. Please review and submit the Short Term Usage Application to request specific lodging.

The following lodges are available at Camp Decorah.

Executive Lodge

The Executive lodge contains bunk space for 16 people. Heating is managed by a forced air furnace as well as a fireplace (please plan on providing your own firewood). The cabin features a refridgerator, oven, and electricity. Water and latrine facilities are within 100 yards of the building. Parking is available outside the cabin.

Gebhardt Lodge

Gebhardt lodge contains bunk space for 24 people. Heating is managed by a forced air furnace as well as a fireplace (please plan on providing your own firewood). The cabin features a refridgerator, oven, and electricity. Water and latrine facilities are within 100 ft of the building. This cabin is sectioned off into 2 rooms. Parking is available outside the cabin.

OA Lodge

The OA lodge is a large open floorplan building containing bunk space for 40 people. Heating is managed by a forced air furnace as well as a fireplace (please plan on providing your own firewood). The cabin features a refridgerator, oven, and electricity. Water and latrine facilities are within 100 yards of the building. Parking is available outside the cabin.

Trading Post

The Trading Post lodge is a large open floorplan building containing bunk space for 40 people. Heating is managed by a forced air furnace as well as a fireplace (please plan on providing your own firewood). The cabin features a refridgerator, oven, and electricity. Water and latrine facilities are within 100 yards of the building. Parking is available outside the cabin.

Training Center

The Training Center contains some great features including a large conference room with tables and chairs available, indoor restroom and shower facilities, a large outdoor patio, and a full kitchen. The building is heated by a forced air furnace as well as a fireplace (please plan on providing your own firewood), as well as cooled using central air. Parking is available near the cabin.
