Boy Scout Summer Camp

Camp Decorah Summer Camp

Summer Camp is the pinnacle of a Scout’s year, and Camp Decorah is the place to be.  Camp Decorah’s top-notch facilities and programs draw Scouts from all over the Gateway Area Council, Tri-State area, and the upper Midwest.  Your Scouts will be engaged throughout the week and exhausted each night.  The meals are served in the Dahl Family Scouting Center’s Dining Hall, but many units wishing to accomplish patrol-style cooking also call Camp Decorah home.  Scouts fill their morning with a personalized advancement program before having their afternoon to enjoy the program areas and many off-camp adventures available in the Coulee Region.

Camp Decorah’s unique location allows Scouts to experience a summer camping experience while being able to travel short distances to other adventures.  The bluffs of La Crosse, Mississippi River, and Black River Valley hold many secret treasures of hiking trails and canoe routes.  The City of La Crosse and Holmen allows Scouts to attend court sessions, visit local organizations, and meet with elected officials, many of which are requirements of their advancement programs.  Follow a link below or see the Leaders Guide.
